About me
I am a Learning Experience Designer originally from Spain, working at the intersection of learning design, human motivation, and user experience to create accessible, highly engaging learning experiences.
Over the past seven years I've built eLearning programmes, gamified learning experiences, and facilitated workshops across higher education, healthcare, corporate training, and finance. I've designed a 21-lesson Storyline programme delivered as SCORM, run a clinical escape room for 91 physicians, taught 150+ students and trained 20+ educators on a year-round Minecraft programme, and built a Minecraft world for the Pfizer Foundation. Most recently I led a learning design team in higher education.
Outside work, I'm usually planning my next trip, playing board games with friends, exercising, or gaming.

What lead me here?
My career grew out of a lifelong fascination with how video games and board games put us at the centre of the experience, letting us master complex rule systems within minutes and pushing us to keep progressing and "levelling up." That's backed by a Master's in Gamification and Transmedia Storytelling, alongside professional certifications in Digital Learning Design and UX/UI.
How I work
I work in five stages: analysing the learning need and objectives, designing the experience from macro structure down to micro interaction, building the solution while testing and iterating throughout rather than at the end, delivering it to the learner or the room, and analysing the outcomes to refine what comes next. Throughout, I work closely with subject-matter experts, from lecturers to clinicians, treating their expertise as the raw material rather than a script to reformat.
